Help shape KnownMeds. Tell us about managing your medications in a 5-minute questionnaire.
Free for seniors. Built with your local pharmacy.

Every medication.
One list.
Known when it matters.

KnownMeds keeps all your medications in one large-print list: prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, and vitamins. Show it to any doctor, pharmacist, or family member. And if you ever can't speak for yourself, emergency responders can see it too.

We are building KnownMeds with seniors, not just for them. No cost. No ads. Your information is never sold.

How it works

No typing drug names. No passwords to remember. Most people are set up in about two minutes, often right at the pharmacy counter.

1

Snap your bottles

Point your phone's camera at each medicine bottle. KnownMeds reads the label and adds it, with a plain-English note about what it's for.

2

Show anyone

One tap opens a big, clear list to hand across any counter or exam table. Print a wallet card for your purse or pocket. Invite family to see it too.

3

Known in an emergency

A free fridge magnet and wallet card carry a code paramedics can scan to see your meds, allergies, and emergency contacts. No app, no password.

The list that speaks for you

In an emergency, EMS crews today gather your pill bottles into a bag. With KnownMeds, your complete, current list is one scan away: on your fridge, in your wallet, and on your phone's lock screen.

Coming next: when you call 911, your medication profile can appear directly at the dispatch center, the same way it already works for medical-alert bracelet services.

For independent pharmacies

Your chain competitors have apps. Yours is better, because it keeps your patients yours.

Hand it out at the counter

A co-branded QR kit turns every prescription pickup into an app your patients associate with your pharmacy.

Capture every refill

Refill reminders route to you, not the chain across the street. See attributed refills on your dashboard.

Care your patients feel

Medication review bookings, senior-day offers, and adherence flags: the service that sets independents apart.

Common questions

Is KnownMeds really free?

Yes. Free for seniors and families, forever. Pharmacies and health plans pay for the professional tools that help them serve you better. You are the person we serve, not the product we sell.

I'm not good with phones. Can I still use it?

KnownMeds was designed for you specifically: big print, one button per screen, no passwords to remember. Your pharmacy's staff can set it up with you at the counter in about two minutes, and a family member can also manage it for you.

Who can see my medication list?

Only you and the people you personally choose: a family member, a doctor you hand the phone to, or a responder scanning your emergency card. Nothing is shared without your say-so, and you can remove access at any time.

Does it work if I use more than one pharmacy?

Yes. Your list belongs to you, not to any one store. Every medication lives in one place no matter where it was filled.

What phones does it work on?

Both iPhone and Android. Your printed wallet card and fridge magnet work with no phone at all.
